ROLDA is an international charity operating in Romania to humanely, efficiently and responsibly solve the stray population, estimated to be 2.5 million animals. Our keys focuses are rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, spray/neuter, social programs and education.
ROLDA affiliates are registered as tax-exempt nonprofit organization in several countries.
Depending on where you reside, your donation may qualify for a tax deduction or benefit.
IN THE US
Romanian League in Defense of Animals, Inc (ROLDA USA) is registered as a 501-c-3 non profit organization. Contributions made by US supporters to ROLDA USA are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by the law. The ROLDA’s Tax Identification number is 32-0176929.
IN UK
ROLDA UK is registered as CIO, Reg. No. 1162690. Donations made by British supporters in GBP currency are tax exempt and Gift Aid can be claimed.
IN HOLLAND
ROLDA is recognized as a public benefit organization (PBO, abbreviated in Dutch as ANBI), and it is therefore fully exempt from inheritance tax. This means that no taxes may be imposed on the capital transfer. Your bequest, legacy, or donation will therefore entirely go our cause. IN GERMANY
Save Romanian Strays – ROLDA Germany e.V. is a non-profit association registered in Lubeck and donations made by German supporters directly to ROLDA German branch are exempt from corporation tax in Germany.
